Day 10 - Review
So today I:
- finished drying and then folded laundry from yesterday, relaxing in front of the TV
- sugar fasted, excepting a bowl of muesli (which needs eaten) for breakfast and jam but resisted homemade cakes at my Aunt's house and the many yummies in the house despite the munchies
- did Scripture memory work, catechism and grace
- finished making soup (i.e. dumped everything in pot, added 1/2 cup barley and two chicken stock cubes, turned on - yummy and easy)
- committed day to God in prayer
- planned for and prayed about church attendance
- attended church and despite getting up extra early and being overtired Sunny managed to sit in for almost the whole service (with two, requested, toilet breaks)
- enjoyed my quiet time with God
- enjoyed visit from SIL, BIL and Niece#3 and surprise visit from in-laws too, including two totally unexpected bunches of flowers and anniversary cards from in-laws and SIL
- enjoyed family dinner
- wrote a sympathy card for my cousin
- enjoyed an uplifting visit with my recently bereaved cousin, her kids and parents
- didn't nap but enjoyed a lovely lie-in! Thank you wonderful Hubby, who enjoyed an early breakfast and cycle with Sunny and then gave him a bath (a job I happily delegate, but love peeping in on-naked baby loveliness)
- also (finally) began the sorting tutoring supplies organisation, a fun project for me!
- found out some praise-God news and had two good cries (one in church) and worked through some heart/obedience issues, got sniffy again over my cousin's bereavement-they are handling it all so well
