Today I:
- Am too low and too tired and sick and sore and emotional to rehash exactly all I failed to do across the day or even all that managed to do
- Am choosing to go back to basics, to rethink what is important of my tasks/challenges and to KISS (keep it simple stupid)
- Updated daily do list posting to follow...
Using challenges from His Word and His gentle prodding,
to improve - mind, body, soul, home and marriage.

Day 62 - Grace Day/Sunny's Operation - Review
Today I:
- cuddled my Sunny as he had an operation
- prayed and cried
- got up at half-five
- wished I could undergo the op in his place
- cuddled him some more
- enjoyed watching him give my mama book after book for her to read to him (16 in total)
- marvelled at how he just bounced on with his day after only a wee hour of grumping post-op
- was very proud of the Hubby for being strong for me the last week (well the last five years really) and being all there today for all of us - love you honey
- tomorrow will definitely be played by ear (especially as I'm feeling a little worse for wear)

Day 53 - Review - Third Grace Day
Today I:
- couldn't seem to stop nibbling my nails, oh dear, I read through the chapter and in terms of journalling, "the next thing I can do is..." take my hand out of mouth! This Grooming Goal is going to be a mental challenge as much as anything I reckon. Didn't file, trim or paint my nails! Have decided to set this goal aside for now.
- didn't read the No-brainer Wardrobe and have made the decision to take a week off of this challenge, comtinuing with the FtP Consistency Challenges (beginning my day with God, getting dressed first thing, wearing earrings, tweezing my eyebrows and cleansing, toning and applying nightcream weekly and encouraging my sister)
- didn't follow the Half-Hour Hope challenge
- did Beautify my mind by learning how to knit a stripy scarf, thank you youtube
- didn't follow my Cleaning Schedule for Mondays
- Read chapter three of the "100 lbs Loser" e-book and continued to prepare for the upcoming 42D2F challenge
- Attended my optician's appt. with Sunny and picked up some groceries
- edited sidebar Scripture memory work
- called to my in-laws' with Hubs and Sunny before dropping Hubs to the airport; went round the superstore near the airport until I felt calm enough to drive/had a trolley load of bad foods/could stop myself from crying so all in all wasn't really home all that long today
- decided to give myself a grace day, watched a movie as soon as I had Sunny down for the night and am about to collapse into bed after I write tomorrow's post and have a quick quiet time, nightie night
- Didn't cancel list sub, complain and request refund which I really can't put off!!
- managed four out of six of my Consistency Challenges
- did a good deal of my Daily Do List and will regret not having laid out tomorrow's clothes in the morning, felt too miserable to complete Moodscope (have a cold and was desperately missing Hubs), have yet to unload/reload the dishwasher I put on this morning, need to clean the kitchen counters and will complete a (too-short) quiet time before bed

Day 37 - Review - Second Grace Day
Today I:
- Began the day very slowly and spent some time in prayer and thanksgiving, I also "acheived" very little while resting up well and recovering my sense in preparation for the days ahead.
- gave myself permission to just rest and get over myself and my moodiness and tiredness, enjoyed some reading time, TV viewing and a restful nap with Sunny - such a treat
- didn't clean
- ate Smaller Portions except for the whole pizza I sacrfed down at the engagement dinner
- didn't tidy
- did my four very basic Frumps to Pumps tasks for the day
- chose to postpone visiting my Granda until Monday
- did very little in the way of parenting as Hubby took charge of Sunny for the whole day, they even enjoyed a long walk with BIL and niece (as BIL gave SIL a break also)
- Changed for the engagement dinner and prayed about success of the evening - and it was such a success!
- did very few of my Consistency Challenges
- did most but by no means all of my pared down Daily Do List

Day 28 - Review - First Grace Day
Today I took a "Grace Day" after a night of insomnia (while my Hubby and Sunny slept loads) and being so emotional and down. Even an enjoyable day of socialising couldn't touch my misery today so a day off to remove guilt on top of all the other tumultous thoughts. Normal activities (and those planned for today) will resume tomorrow, I hope and pray.
Today I:
- woke up the house
- got dressed as soon as I got up
- attended a toddler group with Sunny and my Hungarian friend and her daughter
- had a meltdown in the car on the way home
- was a little revived by Hubby and Sunny's cuddles
- attempted a nap but my Dad was chainsawing right outside my window and even after he graciously stopped, sleep eluded me, as did rest
- entertained my best friend and had a wonderful catch-up and heart-to-heart and a great chat re her upcoming wedding and all the plans and aw so lovely (she stayed so long that Sunny had his dinner while we continued gassing and I didn't have any as my friend was eating later and didn't want any - she was here four-and-a-half hours for "afternoon coffee"). A wonderful lift to my spirits and (I think) I was able to be an encouragement to her as she stresses her way through the wedding plans
- took laundry downstairs and sorted it for washing
- did catechism practice
- attempted a quiet time
- did Swagbucks and Moodscope (3% today, the lowest possible being 2%)
- had lifted out a frozen portion of barley apple cereal yesterday for Sunny and I for dinner (and was very thankful for the no-dinner-prep it provided me)
- ate too many sweets and didn't even enjoy them (at lunch) but did enjoy the many I ate later on :) and the chocolate and the cake, saying that, I still didn't go "mad," by my usual standards anyhow
- laid out tomorrow's clothes
- read the e-book chapter and blog post for the day (thus I am counting my FtP tasks as more or less done)
- made Sunny a podiatry appointment for October
- wore earrings
- tidying time, what's tidying time (more on that tomorrow)
- enjoyed a walk with my best friend as we chatted
- quick-cleaned bathrooms and kitchen
- committed day to God in prayer
- ordered my Hubby's birthday gift
- ordered myself a lovely light pink (a colour!) ladies-cut polo shirt
- had a short prayer time with Sunny after I received a prayer request by text
- wrote this review post and tomorrow's post and
- was generally amazed at what I accomplished despite my depression and emo-ness which has tickled me pink!
Needless to say I did not begin my new task so that will start officially tomorrow!
Nightie-night!
