Day 11 - Review
Today I:
- Let my Hubby lie in for a change and gave him a handmade grammatically incorrect card ;) for our anniversary
- Changed the alarm from 6.30 to 7.30 as I was awake most of the night and Sunny had an unsettled period at half five (I was sleepily not responding to him as I should have, since I'd finally gotten to sleep - bless him he just needed the loo, a lot, after he went he settled in again and we had to awaken him when the alarm sounded)
- Weighed-in and logged weight on app. (four pound loss since I began sugar fast, enough said)
- Skipped the shower but got washed/dressed first thing before Hubs left for work
- Put away the laundry I folded last night
- Had a muesli brekky, after a shot of coffee, while I boiled eggs and did my Swagbucks and Moodscope for the day
- Practised "peekaboo" game with Sunny over breakfast
- Did Scripture memory work, added two new pieces and edited sidebar
- Did prayer sticks and added to them
- Visited parents, collected post and took some laundry downstairs (to utility area)
- Toileted and dressed Sunny for the day (including clearing his nose AGAIN - joy)
- Packed red book, shoe card, snack, shoes for measuring, extra nappies and a drink for myself into baby bag
- Brushed out en-suite, some of the bedroom and kitchen while catching up with Sis#1 on the phone, then thoroughly cleaned en-suite and bleached two out of three toilets to the sound of a worship CD, all while Sunny "helped"
- Packed catechism CD in baby bag along with drink for Sunny, his hospital letter and his waterproof jacket (looks like rain)
- Portioned out soup and prepped my lunch during Sunny's snack time, also emptied dishwasher
- Practised catechism during mid-morning milkies and toileting, afternoon milkies and our car journeys, I've got the first sixteen Q&A's down pat and am fast learning seventeen, eighteen's a doozie though (so long), there's only 106 total so wee buns ;)
- Unloaded and put away dry dishes as I settled Sunny for nap
- Further enjoyed worship songs as part of Sunny's naptime/piano practise routine (Gospel fakebook)
- Ate lunch and began reading an old public domain novel "Understood Betsy" just love it so far (hat tip to The Common Room)
- After an uninterrupted nap by Sunny I had the delight of putting in his eye drops, can we say nightmare!?! That done, our appointment was made significantly shorter. Post-nap we hustled and even got laundry started before we headed for the appointment. With time on our side, we parked at the shops and walked to hospital, then filled out referral forms for podiatry appointments and headed back to the shops. Got Sunny's feet measured (he's on the cusp of needing new shoes so we'll get them next week) and he has his afternoon snack en route. We then hurried home for the (shortly thereafter cancelled) tutoring session
- I switched out laundry, hung up what wouldn't go in the dryer, folded the laundry that was dry and then hoofed laundry, bags and Sunny up the stairs
- Began tutoring prep, set out things for dinner and then got cancellation text, necessitating several texts and phonecalls (joy) with pauses to read stories, kiss sore spots and wind up the music-playing part of the mobile that overhung my cot as a baby :)
- Finished tutoring prep and settled Sunny and I in for an early dinner, or would have if he hadn't pulled a major tantrum :( though said tantrum did allow me a chance to arrange the flowers my MIL and SIL gave us yesterday and reload the dishwasher
- On his arrival home was surprised by a big fruit basket from my honey! Apparently your fourth anniversary is fruit but we'd decided no presents sneaky boy. So pretty and yummy, I ate a tonne of the grapes in the middle of my dinner!
- Had dinner and then headed straight in to clean up and bedtime
- Quiet Time with God, first thing in the morning, became a painfully short meditation on Psalm 1 before I shut my eyes
- Failed to do birthday card (again) or say grace or arrange child sponsorship payment (again)
- Did fold the laundry after Sunny was asleep and then failed to do much else as I was so tired, excepting printing out my packing list for our upcoming weekend away.
