Today I:
- ate Smaller Portions beginning with a smaller bowl of cereal for breakfast, small snack of crackers and grapes, small lunch of cup-a-soup and whole-wheat breadsticks, small snack of plain biscuits and peanut butter (to stop me passing out - how on earth was I so hungry?), regular dinner, at the parentals house en famille, of sliced baked potatoes in a white sauce and spiral pasta in cheese and tomato sauce. Sunny did an amazing job of feeding himself (after literally tipping the pasta from one bowl into another for half an hour before he even tasted it). Alas I finished up my dinner with ice cream and tinned pears - but yummy! So I sort of failed my Sugar Fast but no chocolate so I'll still take it as a pass grade!
- Tidied in the master bedroom (finally clearing, though not dusting the top of the COD)
- worked through my Frumps to Pumps tasks, even managing to get my earrings in. I planned a bit more of a Sunday-go-to-church outfit for today and it has realy helped me start the day off right as I just feel prettier. I'm wearing a long-neglected black and clear bead necklace and some black and white ying and yang symbol earrings that were my Nanny's (and I'm not sure that I've ever worn them before). Went all through my dresses (and long coats) and rediscovered a gem of a maxi dress and that it will take very little weight off my middle to make another couple of dresses look nice on - yay! Also cleaned the last few pieces of jewellery that didn't take the Pinterest cure and my Hubby, bless him, cleaned the silver tray and stunk out half the house as he didn't realise he only needed a teeny bit (he used half the tin). Love that man! I guess there aren't too many boys grow up helping to clean the silver, I guess the gender job divide is intact :)
- purchased "The Chosen" by the Alexandra and Joyce Swann at under £4. The sequel to free e-book "The Planner" which in its conspiracy theory/scary government plot kept me awake at night and wouldn't leave my brain - thus of course I had to buy the sequel! This was the second of my earned treats through the FtP challenge, the first being to allow myself to read the (already purchased, 99p thank-you-very-much) second fantasy novel written by a guy in our church (very good so far btw - Haldred Chronicles - Kalla by JG Cully).
- Tutored E and set about rearranging my tutoring session with Cr that was postponed/cancelled (again) I find this particular student a real challenge attitude-wise
- Hydrated over and above my target and so made up for yesterday
- completed all my Consistency Challenges except walking with Sunny
- did all my Daily Do List
